ABOUT ME

My experience as a researcher is based on the development of analytical methods for elemental determination in different matrices, solving issues that can be found in the academia, companies and multidisciplinary contexts. I have experience in conventional atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), mainly with graphite furnace (GF) as atomizer. I highlight the high-resolution continuum source AAS technique with GF (HR CS GFAAS), mainly for diatomic molecules (HR CS GFMAS) for elemental and isotopic determination as my specialty. I also work with other analytical techniques such as inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in direct mode and with microinjection, and coupled to a laser ablation system (LA-ICP-MS), which can also be used tandem as laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS).

Since 2015: i) I have co-directed 1 doctoral thesis (Universidade de São Paulo – Brazil); ii) I am author/coauthor of 26 indexed publications (21 in Q1), in addition to 1 book chapter (edited by Cengage); iii) I have presented 10 communications to national/international conferences.
